Directions to South Chapel

To South Chapel from The Port Jefferson Ferry

Leave the Port Jefferson Ferry area by turning right from the parking lot onto Rte. 25A
Follow Rte. 25A WEST out of Port Jefferson
Continue WEST on Rte. 25A through
East Setauket and Setauket
Look for Nichols Road SOUTH
Make a LEFT onto Nichols Road heading SOUTH to Route 347
Make a RIGHT on Route 347 heading WEST
Continue WEST on Route 347 to Route 25
Pass all Shopping Centers on both sides Look for an Office Max After the Office Max go pass one more light you will see sign for ROUTE 25.
You will bear off right onto Route 25 heading West
The St. James Funeral Home South Chapel is located 1/2 mile on your RIGHT. You will see Auto Haus and then the Funeral Home.

To South Chapel from the West

Northern State Parkway EAST to the END
it becomes Routes 347/454. 
Move all the way to the far left lane.
Six traffic lights later the highways will split
bear to the LEFT going onto Rte. 347. Follow Route 347 to Lake Avenue.  You will pass a Taco Bell on your RIGHT Southern Blvd Then Next street is Lake Avenue.
Make a LEFT onto Lake Avenue follow that down to a fork make a Left to continue on Lake Avenue. Go to the next Light which is Route 25.
Make a RIGHT onto Route 25, Jericho Turnpike,
Look for a Restaurant Villa Sorrento & Mitsubishi/Saturn Dealership on the Left the Funeral Home is right after that on the LEFT.

To South Chapel from the West (Using the Long Island Expressway)

Long Island Expressway EAST to Exit 56(Route 111-Smithtown-Islip)
There is no separate North or South exit so follow exit ramp to traffic light.
At traffic light turn LEFT onto Route 111 North
Follow all signs along 111 North that say either North or To Smithtown or North to Smithtown.
As you proceed North on Rte. 111 you will first cross over Rte. 454-NO TURNS; after 1/2 mile the entire Rte. 111 turns left and continues North.  Then to Rte. 347-MAKE A RIGHT onto Route 347. Follow Route 347 to Lake Avenue.  You will pass a Taco Bell on your RIGHT- Southern Blvd Then Next street is Lake Avenue.
Make a LEFT onto Lake Avenue follow that down to a fork…make a Left to continue on Lake Avenue. Go to the next Light which is Route 25.
Make a RIGHT onto Route 25, Jericho Turnpike,

To South Chapel From the East (Using the Long Island Expressway)

Long Island Expressway WEST to Exit 62 Nichols Road, NORTH
Follow Nichols Road NORTH to Route 347
Make a LEFT on Route 347 heading WEST
Continue WEST on Route 347 to Route 25
Pass all Shopping Centers on both sides Look for an Office Max After the Office Max go pass one more light you will see sign for ROUTE 25.
You will bear off right onto Route 25 heading West
