As the youngest member of the Maher family, Kenneth was also born in Smithtown and raised in St. James. Upon graduating from Smithtown Central School District where he excelled not only academically but in Varsity Golf, he then attended and graduated from Nassau Community College earning an A. B. S.  degree in Mortuary Science. After passing his National Funeral Directors’ Boards, Kenny went on to complete his New York State residency at the family’s funeral home.  Kenneth is a part of the Nassau-Suffolk Funeral Directors Association. Utilizing his golf experience, he was a golf instructor with the Smithtown Adult Education Program and he dedicated his free time to coaching Little League. Kenneth, along with his father, are members of the Knights of Columbus.
