Alf Kristian Rasmussen

Alf "Kris" Rasmussen II- August 25,1957- March 2, 2018. Long time resident of Smithtown passed peacefully in his sleep at home on Friday March 2, 2018. Kris was a husband, father, grandfather, brother, & dear friend to many. A true Viking fisherman at heart and lover of the great outdoors. Kris will be missed by many. The love of his life, his wife of 37 years Christine Rasmussen (Nee Brock) was by his side throughout his difficult battle with cancer. Along with their three children, Jillian, Elizabeth, & Alf Kristian Rasmussen III. Kris took extreme pride in his three beautiful grandchildren, Jax, Jace, & Charleigh Rasmussen. Known to them as, Poppy. Friends may call at St. James Funeral Home, 829 Middle Country Rd. (Rt.25) on Thursday, March 8th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Son's of Norway service will be held at 8 PM.
