Marie A. Simione

Marie “Nettie” Simione, age 98 just 10 days short of her 99th Birthday, passed away on February 23rd, 2018 at Mills Pond Nursing Home in St. James, NY where she resided for 3 years. She previously lived in Leisure Village in Ridge, NY for almost 20 years. Cherished Mother of Anthony (Christine) Simione and predeceased by her son Raymond Simione. Beloved Grandmother of Gina (Sergio) Silva and Loving Great Grandmother of Gianna and Gabriella Silva, who miss her very much. Also survived by daughter Edith (Pat) Greico and grandchildren Mike (Jennifer) Greico, Sal (Anne) Panebianco, Will (Katie) Panebianco and Paul Panebianco and great grandchildren Nick, Olivia, Angelina and James. Survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. In spite of many tragedies in her life she was a woman who remained strong and persevered.
