US Army Veteran
Beloved husband to Maureen Gallagher Sweeney, loving father to Meg, Kate, Beth and Molly. Cherished Papa to Kerrigan and Patrick Miller and Colin Feil. Father in law to Ben Miller and James Feil. 
Tom taught at Miller Place High School for nearly 30 years and ran into former students everywhere he went. Though he didn't always remember their names, they always remembered Tom as one of their favorite teachers. 
A dedicated Yankees and Giants fan, Tom was known to yell at the TV many times through baseball and football season as our favorite "arm chair" coach. 
Tom adored his three grandchildren and talked about them any chance he could. They made him so happy and he always felt as though being a "Papa" was the best job a man could have. 
Tom will be remembered as a kind, generous, funny and truly happy man who loved his "bride" for 47 years and his four daughters who were his "pride and joy".
