William F. Keough

William F. Keough passed away from December 29, 2019. Beloved husband of Catherine. Cherished Father of Patrick, Dennis, Terrence and Maryann Flanagan. Loving Pop of Eight and Great Grandfather of 2. Born October 22, 1925. Graduated Bushwick HS; Long Island university and Hofstra University. Married Catherine McEvoy on June 2, 1951;moved to Smithtown 1959;Retired from Brentwood School District 1988. William joined the U.S. Army Air Corp. in 1943 and served in the European theater during WWII. After the war he remained in the U.S.Air Force Reserve until retired in 1985 During his years in the reserve he was recalled to active duty twice. Services are entrusted to The Maher family of St. James Funeral Home.
