In loving memory of Amy Mannarino..
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Amy Mannarino. Amy passed away peacefully in her home on September 2nd, 2026, at the age of 63.
Amy, a beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend, was born in Brooklyn, to parents Santo and Dorothy. She was raised in St. James, where she lived all her life.
Preceded in death by her mother Dorothy and brother Jamie (whom she never met), she is survived by her husband John, sons Alexander and Andrew, father Santo, sisters Karen and Judy, and brother Dennis (Gil).
Amy was known for her kindness, empathy, and passionate expression through fashion and jewelry. An aura of positivity, Amy flourished as a social butterfly, and graced others with the sound of her beautiful singing voice. As a devoted professional, Amy helped countless students during her 18 years as a high school guidance counselor at Smithtown West.
Adored by colleagues and friends, Amy will be missed by many, including nieces Marley (Drew) and Ava, and nephews Halton, Kieran, Christopher, and Godson Matthew.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to The North Shore Animal League or St Jude Children's Hospital.
