Obituary

Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Ann Gullo passed away on Tuesday, June 15th.  Ann was born on April 17, 1927 in Manhattan, NY.  She was 1 of 11 children and grew up in Brooklyn, NY.  Growing up, Ann often helped out in her parents' restaurant located across from Coney Island.  As a teenager, she was likely to skip school in the afternoons to visit the Paramount to watch her favorite entertainer, Frank Sinatra.  In November of 1946, she married her love, Vincent Gullo and they were married for over 40 years before his passing.   Ann enjoyed being a mother to her daughter JoAnn, traveling with her husband, reading, and walking the streets of Main Street, Northport.  She spoiled her family with her love and her famous roasted peppers.  She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law JoAnn and Rick, 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  A funeral service will be held at Saints Philip and James Church in St. James, NY at 10:30 on Monday, June 21, 2021.  Ann Gullo will be laid to rest at Calverton National Cemetery in Wading River, NY.
