Barbara Maida passed away at the age of 81 on June 18, 2021.  She was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 27,1939 to Edward and Josephine Maida.  She grew up in Bellmore where she shared many happy memories with family and friends.  She loved Long Island and no matter where her life took her, it was home.

Barbara was the devoted and loving mother to Kimberly and son-in-law to Jonathan.  The true joy in her life was her two grandsons, Ian and Jared.  She loved her boys more than words can even express and they loved their Nanny just as much.

Barbara was a strong, smart and independent business woman ahead of her time.  She worked hard in her many business ventures to provide her family with a wonderful life.

Barbara will be greatly missed by her family, life long friends and cousins.  She will be remembered by everyone for her skill in business, the love she gave, her glamorous make-up and eyelashes and her enjoyment in a trip to Atlantic City.
