Cornelia, 94, passed peacefully in her sleep on May 19, 2021. Born in the Dutch capital, Amsterdam, she immigrated to the United States with her parents when she was an infant. Cornelia grew up in Great Neck, NY, studied art and worked as a beautician early in life. After her marriage to Donald Forster, she became a stay-at-home mom, raising her children and spending her spare time indulging her love of flowers and gardening. With her children grown, she went back to school for business and accounting and established a new career as an account clerk for Suffolk County. Cornelia suffered the tragic loss of one beautiful granddaughter during her life, but she is survived by her four children, sixteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a great many friends. She was a good, kind, generous soul who will be missed by all.
