Darlene P. Fust-Fortier Age 60, of Mount Sinai, New York entered eternal rest on January 24, 2023 with her loving husband, Mike Fortier by her side. Darlene was born in Wheatley Heights, New York to Arthur and Dolores Fust. She grew up in Dix Hills with siblings: Artie Jr. and Deborah.   Darlene attended Half Hollow Hills Schools where she developed lifelong friends. She attended Dowling College, graduating Summa cum laude. Darlene is survived by her loving husband, Michael, sister Deborah, brother Artie Jr. and son David. David is currently serving as a Staff Sergeant in the US Air force. Darlene just became a grandmother on January 21st to Isabella.  She was adored by her niece Christa and her children:  Kai, Dante. Nikko, Saiya and Namine.  She is also survived by her sister and brother in law, Linda and Jimmy Beggs. Darlene and Mike worked side by side as true partners in their successful window treatment business.

Darlene lived each day with passion and purpose. Her wish is for all her friends and family to cherish each day and share their love without reservation.
