As Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, "It's not the destination, it's the journey."  At 97 years of age, Diana Modesto's life was a journey well lived.  She is survived by her loving daughter Victoria and son-in-law, Gary.  Diana was blessed with three grandchildren; Michelle, David and Adam and in recent years, fortunate enough to have the opportunity to touch the lives of great grandchildren; Jonathan, Abigail, Giovanni and Giuliana.

Diana Modesto was born to Rosario and Sophie Modesto on February 19, 1925 in Brooklyn, NY.  Diana was one of five children.  She had four sisters and one brother.

As a single mother to Victoria, Diana commuted daily to New York City, acting as receptionist and assistant to famed Italian body builder, Charles Atlas.  In retirement, Diana spent much of her time with beloved sister, Antoinette and daughter Victoria's family.  A former breast cancer survivor, Diana regretfully passed away on December 2, 2022.  She will be forever loved and missed.
