Donna Marie Barbato of Smithtown passed away on September 13, 2021 surrounded by her family. Donna's life was way too short but those of us who were lucky enough to have her in our lives understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the amount of time that she stayed here. She is survived by her husband Antonio, mother Helen, her 3 children Vincent, Anthony, and Emilia, as well as 7 cherished grandchildren, all of whom made up the entirety of her world. Donna's greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. Whether she was planning a vacation, cooking a delicious meal, driving someone to baseball practice, or doting on her 7 grandsons, Donna was happy as long as her family was together. Donna had many wonderful friends with whom she loved to spend time, travel, and enjoy life's adventures. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend.
