The children of Edward Joseph Condolff, age 97, wish to notify you of his passing on April 16, 2021 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Port Jefferson, NY.  Edward was born on December 1, 1923 in Manhattan to Joseph T and Edith M (Krivacs), and graduated from Andrew Jackson High School in St. Albans, NY. He served our country during World War II as a Sergeant in the Aviation Headquarters Detachment of the US Marines, training as a military pilot. He became a New York City Police Officer in 1948, and retired as a Sergeant in 1984 after 36 years of service.  A long time resident of St. James, and faithful parishioner of Sts. Phillip and James RCC, Edward was a loving son, husband, father, brother and friend. He is survived by his wife of sixty years Joan Marie (Gilleran); his two bothers Robert (Otillie) Condolff of Chapel Hill, NC and Howard (Grace) Condolff of Harrisonburg, VA; sons James (Maura) of Port Chester, NY, Joseph (Samantha) of Centerport, NY, and daughter Jeanne (James) Wu of Allentown, PA; four grandchildren Catherine, Megan, Thomas and Matthew, and numerous nieces and nephews.
