Florence (Galiano) Letts of Centereach, passed away at the remarkable age of 100 on Monday, November 10th, 2025, surrounded by her family. Florence was born April 13th, 1925 in Red Hook, Brooklyn to James Galiano and Loretta (Hanlon) Galiano. She later moved to Flatlands, Brooklyn and spent many years there. She married Kenneth Letts (deceased) in 1949 and they spent 56 happy and wonderful years together. They retired to Port St. Lucie, Florida and lived there for 22 years where she enjoyed bowling and her homemakers club before moving back to New York to be with family. She is survived by her brother Anthony Galiano, her sons Kenneth (Debbie), Kevin (Felisa), Keith (Emma), and her daughter Kathy DeFeo (Dave). She is also survived by her grandchildren Christopher, Lauren, Megan, Julia, Victoria, and Thomas, as well as her great-grandchildren Elena, Mason, Evelyn, Kelsey, Jack, and Robbie as well as many nieces and nephews.
