George R Kurz, longtime Resident of St James passed away on February 7 2022. Faithful parishioner of St Philip and James Roman Catholic Church.  Born in Brooklyn, October 29,1933.  Preceded in death by his parents Clara and Adam Kurz, sister Joan Fiedler, and brother-in-law Charles Fiedler Sr. Loving uncle of Charles Fiedler Jr.(deceased), Mark Fiedler, Lynn and Tommy Glynn. Great Uncle of Russell and David Glynn. Proud St John's Alumnus. Retired from The Equitable Insurance NY,NY and Waldbaums, Stonybrook . George loved the outdoors. He was an avid gardener, enjoyed boating, golf and photography. George loved his Mets. George's annual Bastille Day parties were enjoyed by his many friends and family.
