We lovingly remember Gerard Michael Curran who passed on Tuesday July 26, 2022 at the age of 71. Rod was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, mentor, and friend.  Rod is survived by his wife of 40 years, Ginny, his three children: Drew (38), Mariel (30) and Katy (21), his son-in-law Travis, his three grandsons: Leo (4), Cole (2) and Remi (3m), and his five siblings: Tom (Barbara), John (Barbara), Janet (Michael), Barbara (John) and Jim (Cindy).  His parents, Jack and Eleanor, were waiting for him in Heaven. Rod will be remembered for his many interests in life. He had a deep passion for mentoring, and took great pride in the many colleagues that he helped guide during his 44 years at GEICO, working his way up to finishing his career as the AVP. An avid sports fan, Rod enjoyed watching the Yankees, the Jets, and the golf channel, when he was not playing himself. He tells stories of his softball days, traveling around the country to different softball tournaments, and making lifelong friendships. Rod will be greatly missed, and forever cherished. May he rest peacefully, and look down on his loved ones with pride. We look forward to the days when we can be reunited together again for happy hour, his favorite time of day!
