It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, Hannah Waller, who left this world on Sunday November 1,2026 after a 3-year fight with brain cancer.
Born October 9, 2008, Hannah brought a gift of joy and found her love of Musical Theater early in her life. Hannah had an unwavering commitment and passion to Music Theater.
Hannah earned numerous awards and accolades while chasing her dream to be on Broadway. Although she passed way to soon, we still get to listen to her beautiful voice through the roles she played. She moved through life with a genuine spirit, a joyful heart, and kindness.
Hannah fought cancer with the same strength and courage that she put into her friendships and caring about others. She touched countless lives and was blessed to have the true gift of friendship given to her by those who befriended her. Although we can’t list everyone, we want to thank Sera, Alyssa, Mallory, Michael, Kayla, Syndney, Cordy, Olivia, Katie, Jarod and Kaitlyn who made her last days so special. A special thank you to Kit Connor, who made Hannah’s Make a wish come true. She is survived by her loving sister Mallory, her parents Deborah and Glen, her family and those who loved her. Though her time was taken away from all of us way to early, the memories she left remain in the hearts of all who knew her. “Fly away, toward the dreams you left so very far behind”.
A celebration of Hannah’s life will be held on Saturday November 7, 2026 at Saint James Funeral Home 829 Middle Country Road St James, NY 11780, where family and friends are invited to share stories, laughter, and love in her honor. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Stony Brook Children’s Hospital (How to Give | Stony Brook Cares) or Smithtown Children’s Foundation (Home | Smithtown Children’s Foundation) on behalf of Hannah.
To borrow a verse from Vince Gill, “I wish I could see the angel’s faces, when they hear your sweat voice sing”.
Thank you for 18 years of joy - we love you Bnana.
