Joan Marie Tangel was a dedicated sister, daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and teacher.  She always put the needs of others ahead of her own.  She had a sweet and calm demeanor, while also possessing the ability to command a room when she needed to.  She loved her family, friends, traveling, the beach, a good book, and above all a great conversation.  She is irreplaceable and will forever touch those that knew her.  May she rest in peace.
