Obituary

We are saddened by passing of Louis J DeBole. Beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend, who left us peacefully on Saturday, December 28th.

His life brought joy and warmth to everyone he crossed paths with during his 86 years with us. He was the father to his two children Thomas and Stephen, daughter's in law, Annmarie and Kathleen, grandfather to TJ, Katelyn, Brittany and Julia and great-grandfather to Julian, Jeremy and Jace Louis. He will be missed by all

He lived his life ensuring that he enjoyed each day doing what he loved. Being a teacher for 35 years at Smithtown School District as well as playing and coaching baseball up until this year. Coaching children in baseball was his passion and he loved watching the kids learn to love baseball as much as he did throughout his life.

Louis' legacy of kindness and compassion for everyone he came into contact with will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

We will all miss his humor in life, compassion and devotion to his family and friends and let's not forget the person who sent out the 1st Christmas Card anyone received the day after Thanksgiving! We will all miss that!

Flowers can be sent directly to the funeral home or donation to his Academic and Baseball scholarship can be made following the link below with directions
