D'Amico-Lamberson
Mar 6, 1975 — Jan 6, 2024
Melina D'Amico-Lamberson, beloved wife of Robert Jr. and devoted mother to Theodore, Tessa, and Matteo, passed away on January 6, 2024, at the age of 48 in Port Jefferson, NY. Melina was born on March 6, 1975, in Nassau County, NY.
Melina loved her home life with her husband and children, and she cherished her community of Setauket. She found the most joy in spending time in conversation and laughter with family members and friends. Melina enjoyed exploring the beautiful outdoors through hiking, tending to her garden, and taking walks on the beach with her growing family. She also had a love for baking, specifically creating new Christmas cookies, and visiting the library with Theodore, Tessa and Matteo to choose new bedtime stories.
Before becoming a full-time mother, Melina was a dedicated professional who pursued her passion for helping others. After obtaining a master's degree in social work from Adelphi University, she provided invaluable assistance to patients in residence, ensuring their daily needs were met. Later, Melina pursued her love for literature and knowledge at Queens College and earned her second graduate degree as a Library Media Specialist. She found fulfillment working with children in a middle school library setting in Manhattan.
Melina D'Amico-Lamberson will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched. She was predeceased by her parents, Ciro and Theresa D'Amico. Melina is survived by her husband, Robert Jr., and her never-ending love will continue on in her son Theodore, age 8, her daughter, Tessa, age 5, and her son Matteo, age 3. She is also survived by her sister Josephine (Greg), her mother-in-law, Patricia, her father-in-law, Robert, sister-in-law, Kerilyn, her sister-in-law, Katie (Thomas), her nephew Harley and her many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Melina's compassion, kindness, and love will forever be remembered. May she rest in peace.
