Michael J.
Bellion
Mar 14, 1958 — Mar 6, 2021
Michael James Bellion, 62, of Albertson, New York, passed away on March 6th, 2021 in Winthrop Hospital, due to the Coronavirus. He was born on March 14, 1958 in Brooklyn, NY. Michael was the youngest son of the late William and Nancy Bellion. He grew up in New Hyde Park and graduated from New Hyde Park High School. He was blessed with 1 child, Michael. Michael was hilarious, a problem solver, and compassionate. He was the CEO and founder of the general construction company, Belcor Builders.
Michael's tremendous faith in God always grounded him. He would pray every day and whenever he encountered a trial in life or with his health, he would always say "It's in God's hands." Michael was extremely generous with his friends as he would be the first to help or assist someone in need, provide care, and could always be counted on to listen and advise. During the pandemic, he would host socially distanced backyard parties with all of his friends where they would barbecue all of their favorite meats. Michael, an avid reader, loved to learn new facts and always kept abreast of current events, especially politics. He took up golf, practicing on the putting green as much as his body would allow. Michael embraced technology, mastering his iPad, tik tok, texting, using emojis, GIFs, memes, and was eager to be challenged with other new technologies.
Michael's child was his pride and joy. He attended all of his son's activities in and out of school. He is survived by his son Michael of Albertson.
Michael also leaves behind his dear brother William (Bill), his nieces and nephews Heather, Billy, Marissa, Christianne and Jonathan. Michael is predeceased by his brother John (Jonny).
