Olga Louisa Millan, 83, formally of West Hempstead passed peacefully on December 15th, 2020 in her home. She was a strong willed, religious ,beautiful loving daughter, sister, aunt, mom, grandma and great-grandma. Born in Lima, Peru to Louis and Maria Verastequi, the second oldest of six.  She came to America at the age of 18 to make money for her ailing sister to help her mom with medical costs. With the passing of her sister, she made America her permanent home. She educated herself for the American way.  She learned English, got her American citizenship, graduated from Kay Lauder Beauty School while working as a seamstress to cover costs. Olga married and had two daughters, Nancy Millan and Carol Bergano (husband Tom Bergano, nee Carol Millan), from which she was blessed with 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She is adored by her family and she was so proud of them. Olga was a devoted practicing Catholic and is at peace with her glorious maker. She will be missed greatly.
