Patricia Ann "Pat" Ward, age 84, passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021.

Pat was born on February 5, 1937 to John and Marjorie B. McMannus in Nesconset, L.I., NY.  Growing up the youngest of three children, Pat graduated from Smithtown High School in 1954.  Following high school, Pat married Ronald A. Ward on November 26, 1955.  She soon became the mother of three children and raised her family in Nesconset as well.

Upon her retirement from the Buildings and Grounds Department of Smithtown School District in 1981, Pat and her husband Ron became full-time residents of Inverness, Florida.  In her retirement, Pat enjoyed many hobbies such as sewing, scrapbooking, building dollhouse miniatures, reading, and gardening.  Growing up on Long Island, she developed a lifelong love of the beach and boating.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents John and Marjorie B. McMannus, her husband Ronald A. Ward, her brother John "Mike" McMannus, her half-brother Robert "Bob" McMannus, her half-sister Olive "Ollie" Valentine, and her son James Ward.

She is survived by her children Jane Ward Guaraldi and Ronald Ward, her son-in-law Glenn Guaraldi, daughter-in-law Debra Ward, her grandchildren Christopher, Stephanie, and Sean, her great-granddaughter Lillian Grace Guaraldi, and her sister Marjorie Salacain.

Pat was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved life and always made time for family.  Pat will be deeply missed and mourned by all who knew her.
