Richard P. Powers, Sr. age 79, passed away on April 20, 2021.  Loving husband to Julie for 58 years. Beloved father of Denise (Jason) Grippo, Richard, Jr. (Raquel) Powers, and Julie Barone. Cherished grandfather of Nicholas, Anthony, Michael, Christina and Christopher. He was a long time resident of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, worked for the Department of Sanitation for 35 years and then became a Head Usher at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City.  He recently became a resident of St. James, NY.  Richard loved his grandchildren, baseball and fishing.
