Lamano, Rosalie ("Rose") A. (nee LiBassi), of St. James, New York, passed away July 27th at 84 years of age. Loving and devoted wife of the late Anthony E. Lamano, beloved mother of  JoAnn and William Karales and Susan and John Pavacic, cherished sister of Carl LiBassi and the late Liboria Woodruff and Anthony LiBassi, and treasured sister-in-law of Arthur Woodruff, Barbara LiBassi, Paula LiBassi and Rose Marie Selkirk. Beloved grandmother of Candice and Nick Cambrial, Emily Pavacic and Erik LeRoy, Johnny Pavacic and Reid Karales. Loving great-grandmother of Skylar and Weston Cambrial. Rosalie lived a full life./ She was an active member of the Fairfield St. James community and previously enjoyed a career at the Town of Smithtown Tax Receiver's Office. Most of all Rosalie loved her family and was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children, grandchildren and great-children and embraced every moment with them./ Rosalie loved to cook, kept an immaculate house, was a highly skilled seamstress and talented interior designer and enjoyed weekly outings with her companions./ She was a devoted friend to many and made new ones everywhere she went./ Rosalie will be dearly missed and will forever be in our hearts.Visitation Friday, July 30th 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm St. James Funeral Home, 829 Middle Country Road, St. James, New York. Funeral service Saturday, July 31st, 10 am. Followed by burial St. Charles Cemetery, 2015 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, New York.
