"Be Joyful!"  Those are some of the last words that Ted Gutmann spoke to his children.  He died the way he lived – always thinking of others before himself.  Our dad was the best human being and lived selflessly and found joy in doing things for others.  His legacy is that of love and inspiration.  Those who knew him were changed forever, not only by his words but by his actions.  He lived simply, profoundly, selflessly and joyfully.

Ted Gutmann is survived by his children and their families - his sons, Ted Gutmann (Carol), Ken Gutmann, Rob Gutmann (Jennifer) and his eight loving grandchildren:  Emily, Danny, Sara, Christopher, Grace, Kayla, Sophia and Brayden.  He is predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret and is now reunited with her in heaven.  He also remains in the hearts of his brother Rich and his sister, Sister Cecelia Gutmann, O.P.  He is predeceased by his brothers Peter and John.

His was a life well lived and his spirit will be carried on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
