Vincent Donato, 90, of St. James, NY, died peacefully after a brief illness on July 24th. He was the husband of the late Mary. He is survived by his twin sister Joyce Little and his children; Joy (Al), Donna (Jim), Daniel (Kristin), and Dina (Peter). Nine grandchildren; Adam (Nicole), Arielle (Dale), Daniel (Emily), Matthew, Brianna, Tyler, Daniel, Andrew, Dylan. Two great-grandchildren; Melania and Miley, and baby Jack on the way.

Fondly referred to as Red and Poppy, he was an avid reader, extremely organized, and loved a good time. He will be remembered by his wild antics, his very dry martinis, his glass of Cabernet Sauvignon, and his continuous generosity. This was exemplified by his weekly family dinners at his favorite restaurant and his wonderful family vacations. Red will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
