Obituary

Walter Vendura, GrandMaster to the Martial Arts world, passed at home in the arms of his loving wife Linda on January 19th. Walter leaves behind his sister Winnie and sons Matthew and Walter from a previous marriage. Walter was born and raised in the Bronx and left to serve in the Vietnam War. This is where his love of the Martial Arts/Tae Kwon Do began. It became his lifelong passion to teach, empower and make a positive impact on the many lives he touched through his teachings. His positive energy and never give up attitude helped him through his many health challenges in later life. He brightened every room he walked into and is revered by many. Although Tae Kwon Do was his motivation and passion, he also enjoyed traveling, fishing, his dogs and family gatherings. This tremendous loss has greatly impacted not only his family but the Martial arts community of which he was such a big part.
