Zenaida Raymundo, age 83 of Smithtown NY, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022. She was born to the late Andres Zablan and Gregoria Zablan at St. Luke's General Hospital in the Philippines, on November 11, 1938.

Zeny as she's fondly called, attended Centro Escolar University in the Philippines, where she took up Education Major in Science and Filipino studies. She practiced teaching for a total of 17 years wherein she spent most of her professional life in St. Dominic Academy in Pulilan, Bulacan in the Philippines. If you ask her former students, they will say that she's strict and want to impart good discipline to her students.

She got married at the age of 38 years old and had their first son, Rozen on December 13,1978. Allan Andrew was then born after two years on September 16,1980. She migrated to the US with her sons and first came to America in September 1996. She lived with her sister, Dr. Lilia Zablan in Smithtown.

She goes back and forth between the US and the Philippines. She made sure to spend most of the holidays and special occasions with her family. If you ask the people closest to her, everyone will agree that she's friendly, personable, and generous. She's very giving and always wants to see the smiles on people's faces when she gives them presents. She's also religious and devoted to her faith. She might not be able to go physically to the church to hear mass, but she always prays and talk to God.

"A Mother is she who can take the place of all others but whose place no one else can take." this quote can describe how Zenaida is to her children, A mother's love is truly irreplaceable. It is rare to find someone who will love you endlessly like a mother.

Zenaida is survived by her two sisters and a brother, two sons and daughters-in-law, three grandchildren, and several other loving relatives and close friends.

Zenaida will have an intimate funeral service not far from her home. The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her last days.
