Alfred Ernest Jerry was born on August 30, 1957, son of the late James and Beatrice Jerry. Alfred attended Sewanhaka High School where he graduated and received his Diploma.
After graduation Alfred started working alongside his father in the family business Jimmie Sewage Disposal Company. After his father's retirement Alfred continued running the business. The company had many contracts including Belmont Racetrack. When the company closed, Alfred began working for Automatic Irrigation. Soon after Alfred began a new business, AAA Irrigation Systems, installing inground lawn sprinkler systems along side his grand-nephew, CJ. Alfred enjoyed meeting new people.
Alfred and the Late Isabel Rivera had two children, Jasmine and Alfred Jr.
Alfred grew up in South Floral Park, NY and was a man who enjoyed watching sports. Especially the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Milwaukee Bucks. In his early years Alfred enjoyed playing basketball and would be found at Averil Boulevard Park every Sunday morning.
He accepted his Lord and Savior and was baptized at Emanual Baptist Church in Elmont, New York under the leadership of Rev H. David Par-ker. Alfred enjoyed Sunday School and in his teen years he also taught Sunday School. His last church home was Bethel AME Church in West-bury, New York.
Alfred departed this life on Saturday, May 16, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Beatrice Jerry and his brother, James and sister-in-law Darlene. He leaves to cherish in his memory his daughter Jasmine, grandson's Jace and J'mare, son Alfred Jr., his brother Michael and sister-in-law Lisa and longtime partner Mary, and a host of nephews, cousins and friends.
