Anthony LoGiudice, 71, of St. James, New York, passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his family and friends. Anthony is survived by his loving wife, Josephine; his children Deirdre and Lisamarie; his granddaughters Ashley and Avianna; and his siblings Caterina and Peter. He is predeceased by his brother Emanuel, and his parents Josephine and Pasquale.
Anthony was born in Siculiana, Sicily in May 1949 to Pasquale and Josephine LoGiudice. He immigrated with his family to Brooklyn, New York in 1955. Anthony met his future wife as a young teenager, and at the age of 18, he owned and operated his first pizzeria in Hempstead, New York. Since then, Anthony has dedicated his life to serving food made with love and laughs to the Long Island community.
Anthony was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He treasured his girls, devoting his life to their wellbeing and success. Every one Anthony touched loved and respected him; he was kind, intelligent, witty, creative, generous, and so much more. He was one of a kind and will be forever missed.
A wake will be held at St. James Funeral Home, 829 Middle Country Rd. St. James, NY, on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held at Saints Philip and James Roman Catholic Church, One Carow, Place, St. James, NY, on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at St. Charles Cemetery, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY.
