Anthony J. Raia

We lovingly remember Anthony Raia, of Saint James, NY, who passed away peacefully on December 4, 2023 at the age of 98, just 3 months shy of his 99th birthday.

Anthony is survived by his daughter, Diane Raia. His wife, Millie, pre-deceased him in 2022, and his son, Anthony, passed away in 2005 from ALS. He leaves behind his devoted daughter-in-law, Rosa Raia, and five grandchildren: Christina, Anthony, Joseph (Taylor), Vincent (Katie), and Stephen (Shivani); as well as two great-grandchildren: Dante and Gianna Raia.

Anthony was the youngest, and last remaining of his 8 brothers. He will also be deeply missed by his extended family of nieces and nephews.

Anthony was a World War II Veteran, an avid NY Yankees fan, and most importantly, a loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle.
