Boleslaw "Ben" Markowski

Ben Markowski passed away peacefully on August 14th while his most beloved held his hands and sent him off to meet his sweetheart.  

Born on December 22, 1953, Ben lived all of his 70 years of life in St. James, NY.  He was son to the late John and Stanislawa Markowski, Loving husband to the late Karen (Marrone), Devoted father to John & Ginny, Andrea & Frank, and Benjamin & Stephanie.  Cherished Papa (Pop) to four grandchildren, Parker, Paige, Emory, and Vincent.  Dear brother to Christine, John, and Joe.  

Ben was the jack of all trades, master of designing and building  just about anything, and his work was meticulous and admired by all.  He was a true teacher in life, taking others under his wing and guiding them toward learning new skills and obtaining success.  He enjoyed cars, music, watching educational programs, animals, drinking coffee, reading the paper, and most of all, his family. 

Ben will forever be remembered for his gentle demeanor, his strong work ethic, and his undying love for his high school sweetheart, children and grandchildren.  

We can all rest easy knowing that Ben is watching over us all, as heaven gained a true warrior of an angel.
