Darlene Dore Donohue, born January 20, 1964, in the Bronx, NY, passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family. The oldest daughter of John (Jack) and Florence Donohue of St. James, Darlene filled the world with kindness, faith, and quiet strength throughout her 61 years.
A devoted sister, Darlene is lovingly remembered by John Paul, Jeanne (John Richard), and Thomas (Theresa). She was a proud and cherished aunt to John Luke (Taylor), Jacqueline, James, George, and Matthew, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
Darlene touched countless lives through her compassion, loyalty, and gentle presence. A dear cousin and friend to many, she was known for her willingness to listen, her warm smile, and her devotion and selfless support for the people she cared about.
She found joy in life’s simple pleasures, sunny days at the beach, stylish high heels, fancy dresses, sweet treats from Alpine Bakery and anything on sale at Macy’s. Her life was defined by love, love for her family, love for her friends, and love for the moments that brought people together. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
May she rest in eternal peace.
