Dominick Loiacono was born September 11, 1961 to parents Anna and Frank Loiacono in Astoria, Queens. He grew up in Bensonhurst Brooklyn with his two older sisters, Josephine and Maria.
He was a nerd from day one, curious about what made everything tick, which led to him to become an electrical engineer. Throughout his career, he worked at Underwriters Laboratory and Honeywell.
He met his wife, Leslie, while she was taking care of his father Frank at NYU hospital. Dominick and Leslie had two daughters, Courtney and Kristina, and raised them on Long Island.
Dominick was an avid astronomer, audiophile, woodworker. He spent hours in his basement, repairing electronics, taking care of guitars, and tinkering away trying to fix something for someone he loved.
Most importantly, he was a devoted father, husband, son, and brother. He will be forever missed
