Doris J. Robbins

Doris Robbins, 94, Passed away on September 23, 2018 at Long Island State Veterans Home, Stony Brook, New York. Doris Jean White was born in Flushing, Queens, New York on September 14, 1924 and married Dr. Arnold Robert Robbins on July 27, 1946. Together they raised five children.

Doris's Gifts included creating a home that was a thing of beauty and order, and elevating family meals to gourmet perfection. Her Christmas Eve buffets and Christmas Day breakfast will not be forgotten. Doris was well known for her sense of style and flare for fashion. But most of all, she was the love of her husband's life.

Doris was pre-deceased by her husband of 67 years as well as her daughter, Patricia Jean Molloy just last October 31, 2017.

She is survived by her children, Carol Ann (Peter) Riordan, Dr. William J. (Marlene) Robbins, Dr. Thomas D. (Kim) Robbins, and Colleen M. Robbins as well as 9 grandchildren and 11 great grand sons.
