It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Elizabeth “Grammy”  Ladouceur on February 5, 2026, at age 92. A longtime resident of Smithtown, NY, she was a 
devoted member of St. Thomas of Canterbury and was known for her kindness, generosity, and warm spirit.
Born on December 10, 1933, Elizabeth dedicated her life to her family, who were her greatest joy. She is predeceased by her husband, J.E.B. Ladouceur, SR, and is survived by her children—Margeret Longpre (Edwin), Jeb Ladouceur, JR (Carolyn), Carolyn Purcaro 
(Robert), William Ladouceur (Sandra), and Andrew Ladouceur (Diann)—as well as her grandchildren: Eddie, Jillian, Eric, Robbie, Christine, Kimberly, Amy, Leanne, Emily, Andrew, 
Perry, Casey, Alex, and Leo. She was also blessed with 17 great-grandchildren.
A memorial mass will be held Monday, February 9 at 11:00 a.m. at the Episcopal Church of St. Thomas of Canterbury in Smithtown, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of the Ladouceur family. Elizabeth’s memory will 
remain forever in our hearts.
