In Loving Memory of
Henry John Monetti
November 11, 1942 – December 30, 2025
Henry John Monetti passed away peacefully on December 30, 2025, at the age of 83.
Born on November 11, 1942, Henry was the son of the late Salvatore Monetti, a pharmacist, and Concetta (née Puca) Monetti. He dedicated more than 58 years to the practice of medicine, serving his patients with compassion, humor, and unwavering commitment. The patients he cared for, along with the doctors and staff he worked beside throughout his long career, were a great source of joy to him and became, in many ways, an extended family.
Henry married the love of his life, Patricia Ann (née O’Neill) Monetti, in 1967. Together they built a life rooted in love, faith, and family. Patricia preceded him in death.
He lived in Brooklyn, Howard Beach, Port Washington, and St. James, forming friendships and lasting connections in every community he called home.
Henry was a devoted father to John Monetti, Concetta Monetti, Christopher Monetti, Patricia Monetti, and the late Henry Monetti, Jr., who preceded him in death in 2017. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Tyler, Brian, and Ashley Niski; Delilah Monetti; and Henry Monetti.
Henry was also the caring brother of his two sisters, Caroline and Adeline.
Above all, Henry’s greatest joy was being around people. He treated everyone with genuine care and kindness, always keeping his sense of humor—even during life’s most challenging moments. He will be remembered with deep affection by all who knew him as a father, grandfather, uncle, colleague, and physician.
To Henry, friends and family were one and the same. He would want everyone to remember this:
Love without fear. Live in good health.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
