James Graziano, 82, of Nesconset, NY passed away peacefully on April 17, 2024. Born in Brooklyn, NY to Rose and Michael Graziano, Jim joined the Marine Corps in 1959 and gave 4 years of service. During this time, he met Karin, his wife of 63 years. Together, they have 3 children: Dawn (Michael), Michael (Alexis), and Karen(Tommy). They are proud grandparents to 9 grandchildren: Danielle (Vinnie), Michael (Erin), Michael, John, James, Michael, Christopher, Justin and Jacquelyn, and 5 great-grandchildren: Tristan, Declan, Everly, Tripp, and Hunter. He served 20 years with the New York City Transit Police, then continued a successful second career as a financial planner. In his spare time he was a World War Il history buff, a horseracing enthusiast, and enjoyed a lucrative hobby as a partial owner in several purse winning thoroughbreds. He was an avid storyteller, loved telling jokes, and entertaining his family and friends with magic tricks. Although, he had many health struggles, Jim always had a positive outlook and sunny disposition.
