James A. (Jim) Lynch, 85, of St. James, NY passed away on April 20, 2020. Born in 1934 to Winifred and James Lynch and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Jim eventually settled on Long Island to raise his family. Travel, golf and family were his passions. He enjoyed vacationing in Cape May and Myrtle Beach and loved to take a cruise. Jim was an avid writer who crafted an original children's story each Christmas which he read aloud to the family while wearing his Kris Kringle hat. He loved football, especially the NY Jets. Jim loved a good meal and was a lifetime member of the Clean Plate Club. He enjoyed a good joke and had an infectious laugh. He enjoyed exploring Long Island and learning about its rich history, taking frequent drives out east frequenting familiar landmarks and discovering new places of interest.
