Jasper E. Kassay Jr., 69, of Smithtown, NY, on October 1st, 2024 in Smithtown, NY. He was a master electrician for more than 50 years. Jasper was a longtime member of IBEW Local 25, and member of NECA working as an electrician and teacher of Solar Energy installation. Jasper’s active lifestyle led him to the Suffolk County Championship in trap shooting and a blackbelt in Aikido. Beloved husband of Barbara. Loving father of Jasper III (Melyssa), Timothy, and Brian. Cherished grandfather of Jasper IV and Grady. Dear brother of Charles, J. Peter, Andy, Dorothy Parenti, and Virginia Kassay. Mother-in-law Marylou Helbig, brother-in-law Michael Helbig, and many nieces & nephews also survive Jasper.
