Jennie Alimonte

Jennie Alimonte 104 of Saint James, New York.  Died peacefully on January 22,2022.  She was born in Barnesboro, Pennsylvania on September 21, 1917 to Dominick and Catherine ( Sundilla) Giardine.  She was predeceased by her loving husband Anthony, her children Richard Alimonte and Adelaide Williams her siblings Alfred and Anthony Giardine, Alva Mollo and Florence Olish. 
Jennie is survived by her daughter and so  In law Kathleen and Jospeh Rubino of Saint James, her daughter in law  Santa Alimonte of Florida and her son in law Daniel Williams of Florida also by seven grandchildren Patricia ( Wayne) Paytas, Florida , Kathleen( Rich) Borsody, Florida, Michael Guglielmo, Florida, Nancy( Anthony) DeSantoli, Florida, Kathleen( Billy) Hurski, Saint James, Jennifer Walling, Mattituck, and Elissa ( Heath) Cooley, Louisiana. Fifteen great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.  Jennie was a member of the Uniondale Fire Department Ladies Auxiallry, and was employed by Mid- Island Department Store in Farmingdale.  Jennie cherished her family  and devoted her life to her children and grandchildren.  She loved reading, soap operas, sewing and cooking her homemade gnocchi, struffoli, and Easter Bread were her childrens favorite, and most of all  having her family around her.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501  St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Alzheimers Association.
