John A. Macca died peacefully in his sleep with his loving wife by his side on May 20, 2024. A long time resident of Long Island and a graduate of Holy Cross High School John worked as a financial consultant for more than 20 years. In his free time John loved to paint, golf and travel on boating trips with his boat "No fueling around".
Son to Andrew Macca and Helen (Andrea Macca who preceded him in death, Beloved husband to Nancy Macca to whom he was married for 50 years, father to Anthony (Kim) Macca, and Tommy Macca who preceded him in death. Adored grandfather "Papa" to Paige and Skylar Macca and treasured bother to Chris (Doreen) Macca and Andy (AnnMarie) Масса.
John is also survived by many nieces and nephews. John's greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends and with his adored dogs. John, and his exceptional sense of humor, will be greatly missed by the many who loved him.
Visitation will be at the St. James Funeral Home, 829 Middle Country Rd, St James, NY on May 23, 2024 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM. The Funeral service will be held on May 24 at 9:45am at St. Patricks Roman Catholic Church of Smithtown, 280 E. Main St., Smithtown, NY. Following the funeral mass, John will be buried next to his beloved son Tommy at St. James Episcopal Cemetery, 490 N. Country Road, St James, NY
