John R. Steele

John Robert Steele (Jack), of St. James, NY, formerly Hicksville and the Bronx, passed away on April 6, 2024. Jack was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to many. Jack leaves behind a legacy of love, loyalty and commitment to his family, friends, and country. His legacy will live on through his wife, Ann (nee Murphy), of sixty years, children Sheila (Dave), Owen (Melissa), Deirdre (Brian), and Dennis (Betsy), his grandchildren Caitlin, Daniel, Aileen, Ciara, Dennis, Emma, Jack, Rowan and Dermot, and great granddaughter Addison. Jack’s sense of humor and smile will be forever remembered!
