Joseph R. Hosey

Joseph Robert Hosey passed away peacefully on Friday July 28th 2023, with his family lovingly by his side. Born in England on April 13,1946 to Patricia and Joseph. At the age of one his family came to America. 

He lived a rambunctious and fun childhood with his five siblings Patricia,Peter, Eleanor, Susan and Paul.

A love for the outdoors and gardening led to frequent visits to Long Island, it was there that he raised two children Kim and Matthew. Forever proud of his children, there was no end to what he would do for them. Joseph was a joyful Grandpa to Ryan, Isabella and Emilia. 

Joseph enjoyed telling stories, he loved to talk and was witty and fun! He was clever and full to the brim with knowledge gained through life experiences: mechanic,fisherman,gardener,artist, contractor- he could fix anything.

Joseph had a long career with Western Electric before retiring in 2005. He even had a side gig as a model and actor in his retirement.

Those privileged to have know Joseph or Bobby as his parent’s, siblings and nieces and nephews called him will forever be grateful for the gifts of his love.
