Joseph Nicholas Reinhart III, 70, passed away on March 11, 2024. He was born on December 6, 1953, in Hornell, New York. Joseph was a loving husband to Laura Reinhart and a devoted father to his sons Joseph and Andrew Reinhart. He is also survived by his stepchildren, Stephen, Matt, and Courtney, and their children Harrison, Howard, and Eleri.
Joseph's achievements began early on. He furthered his education at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, the Officer Candidates School in Quantico, and obtained a Master of Computer Sciences from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. Joseph had a distinguished military career serving in the US Marine Corps, retiring at the rank of Major and transitioning to the private sector as an IT and technology leader in telecommunications.
He was a dedicated and loving “Poppa” to his grandchildren, a pillar of support to his sons, and a devoted sibling to his brothers and sisters. A quality that extended to many others outside of his family as well. He will be remembered for his generosity, kindness, and willingness to extend a helping hand.
