Lawrence Frisina Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Lawrence Paul
Frisina. Larry passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at the age of 67,
after a six month battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

Larry was born in Melville, New York to the late Rose and Leonard
Frisina. He carried on his father’s legacy of growing E&F Trucking &
Warehouse which was founded in the late 1940’s. Larry succeeded his
father in the 1980’s and later encouraged and supported his daughter
Lauren Nichols to open her own 3rd Generation Warehouse. Larry was
also the owner and CEO of Premier Transportation, 3G Distribution in
Nevada, and his most recent venture; 3G Distribution Services in South
Carolina. Additionally, he was a successful real estate owner with
multiple properties on Long Island. He was a true businessman and
mentor at heart and was known for his people skills and keen business
sense.

Larry was a 1971 graduate of Saint Anthony’s High School, earned a
Bachelor’s degree from Adelphi University and later attended Traffic
School at the World Trade Center. He was married to his devoted and
fun-loving wife, Nancy (Figari) in 1977. They were married for 43
years and were blessed with 3 adoring daughters, 3 devoted
sons-in-laws, and 6 grandchildren. His wife and his family were his
whole world and he never tired of making memories together.

Larry was a larger than life, loyal, generous family man, friend,
brother and cousin. He was relied on for advice, perspective, support,
and laughter in EVERY capacity. You could often find Larry surrounded
by friends and family while traveling, barbecuing and hanging in the
pool or cutting mangoes and creating scavenger hunts for his
grandchildren. He had a knack for seeing the big picture of life and
finding gratitude in all of his blessings.

Larry is survived by his loving wife, Nancy, his daughter Vanessa
Marie and husband Scott D. Avery, III and their children Scott D.
Avery, IV and Evelyn Rose, his daughter Lauren Ann and husband Kevin
Nichols and their children Jake William and Leah Rose, and his
daughter Jacquelyn Leigh and husband Jeffrey Kane and their children
Leighton Rose and Brennan Michael.

Larry believed firmly in living life to the fullest with no regrets!
His family finds comfort in knowing that he was at peace when he
passed and was truly thankful for the beautiful and full life that he
lived until the very last days.
