Lorraine Sofarelli

Lorraine Sofarelli passed away peacefully on December 26th at the age of 87. She was born on December 30th, 1936 in Jamaica, Queens, NY. 

Lorraine was the beloved wife of Joseph P. Sofarelli, mother of Linda Campo (Chistopher), Stacy Olsen (Allen), Leslie Sofarelli (Pam) and Peter Sofarelli (Victoria).Grandmother of Jessica Ducker (Brandon), Kimberly Little (Thomas), Matthew Olsen (Nicole), Zachary Olsen, Kristen Sanal (Ihsan), Alec Sofarelli, Nicolas Olsen, Davis Sofarelli, Kayleigh Olsen and Ashley Sofarelli.  Cherished great grandmother of Ryleigh Olsen, Brynlee Olsen, Ava Little, Aiden Ducker, and Sadie Olsen. She is also survived by her sister Catherine Barbour (Richard) and sister-in-law Ann Smith (Gary).

Lorraine was known for her generous heart, unwavering strength, and love for her family. She was a devoted fan of the New York Mets. She loved watching the Mets play every game of every season since they started in 1962. She also loved traveling around the country with her husband in their motor home.

 A memorial service will be held on December 29 at St James Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Good Shepherd Hospice.
