Mary Ann Williams passed away peacefully on May 27th, 2026, surrounded by family and loved ones, at the age of 70. Mary Ann was born in Bronx, NY on August 22, 1955, to parents Edward and Dorothy. One of eight children, she joins her late siblings Dorothy, Dennis, Richie, Edward in heaven. She is survived by her sister Kathy, and her brothers Guy and Billy.
To anyone who knew her, Mary Ann was an unstoppable force. She was incredibly generous and committed to the service of her family and community. An attendance aide and homeless liaison at Connetquot School District, she facilitated outreach and services for unhoused families throughout the Ronkonkoma, Bohemia and Oakdale areas, helping countless families access the aid they needed for their children.
She loved singing, crafting, her beagles, and uncovering treasures at garage sales, but above all she loved her family. She enjoyed trips to the Poconos with her late Uncle Bob Peterson, and summer trips to Cape Cod with family, often accompanied by her life-long best friend of over 50 years, Aysha Leadbeater.
She was a tireless advocate, cheerleader and pillar of support for her three children, Guy, Danyell and Troy, and her daughter-in-law Jessica, all for whom there was nothing she wouldn’t give. She enjoyed a long and loving relationship with her wonderful partner Chester Kozlowski, with whom she spent 35 happy years.
She will be remembered for her tireless service to her family, her steadfast and tenacious will, her unending generosity, her wise advice and her boisterous laugh. Her spirit will live on in the fruits of her service, the wisdom of her counsel, the kindness of her charity and the support she offered freely.
A loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend, she will be deeply missed by her friends, her family, and her community. May she rest in peace
